I had my house on the market for over a year when the market was crashing and I was personally in the market for a new realtor. Earned or not, real estate agents often have a reputaion for "pushiness" and a "sell it at any cost," mentality. Olla is the exact opposite of this unfortunate stereotype. She is more about building a relationship of trust and confidence between herself and her prospective about building a relationship of trust and confidence between herself and her prospective clients. After our first hour plus with Olla, my fiancé and I felt like we had known her for years. We were equally impressed with her complete and detailed knowledge of the real estate market and what was affecting it at the time. What a welcome change from real estate agents we had dealt with previously!
About a week after our initial meeting, we had developed such a high level of trust and confidence in Olla that we decided to give her the listings of both my fiancé's and my home, while we continued to discuss with her the possible purchase of the home where we originally met her. This was not always an easy thing to do, but Olla handled it was if it were an everyday occurence, even though it sometimes involved several hours of her valuable time.
Less than 2 weeks after we listed our homes, personal issues caused us to have to withdraw from our agreement with Olla and Keller Williams. Rather than complain about how much time she had invested, or try to talk us out of our decision, Olla professionally handled this unfortunate development with all the class and acumen she had shown us from the very outset.
